Moses Below Water Bridge Netherlands
"Moses Bridge Netherlands - In the early 17th century Fort de Ruver was surrounded by a moat and was originally built without a bridge. But during a recent restoration program has necessitated the construction of the bridge.. Out of respect to the original fort insular status Dutch company RO AD Architecten built ladder bridge Moses. Get the original "sunken" bridge literally merges with the water line. As a result, almost invisible bridge partially submerged pedestrian moat. Originally protective zone was flooded with water deep enough to impede the enemy advance, was still shallow enough to prevent effective use of boats."

Riverbed Art Exhibit Denmark
via the Louisiana Museum
"Olafur Eliasson's take on Louisiana is radical, fascinating and unique. The central work in the first solo exhibition at the museum by the Danish-Icelandic artist is a huge, sitespecific project that reverses the relation between nature and art.
The transitions between inside and outside, culture and staged nature, become fluid and transitory – and the progress of the visitor through the museum becomes a central issue. Eliasson’s exhibition is an enhancement of our gaze at the museum, at ourselves and at the world.
Olafur Eliasson's exhibition at Louisiana engages with the museum’s unique identity. The exhibition consists of three sections that each thematize the encounter between Eliasson’s art and Louisiana as a place. The central work, Riverbed (2014), is based on the unique connection between nature, architecture and art that characterizes the museum. Transforming the entire South Wing into a rocky landscape, Eliasson focuses on inhabiting space in a new way and inserts new patterns of movement into the museum.
The exhibition is supported by Ny Carlsbergfondet and Realdania and also Kvadrat."

Blackbird Attacking People
Published on Jul 18, 2014
"I was filming this blackbird during a few days, and I came to some conclusions:
1.Very few of nesting blackbirds actually attack people. There were dozens nests around, but only this one bird kept attacking people.
2. Most attacked people were going from left to right. Seldom, mostly runners, were attacked while going from right to left.
3. Bird attacked only when he believed he's not seen.
4. If a person had a hand atop of his head the bird did not attack.
5. Some people behaved much crazier than the bird. I observed one Chinese couple who were violently shaking the bush with the nest on it in order to make the bird to attack them in order to take a picture. The bird was circling over their heads, but never attacked them because they were looking at him.
6.In the last few frames I filmed the feeding of the chicks. Please note how the mother removed faecal sac (poop) directly from the chick's cloaca.
I asked park officials to put a warning sign, but it was not put."

Saturn's Swirling Cloudscape
via NASA: "Explanation: Acquiring its first sunlit views of far northern Saturn in late 2012, the Cassini spacecraft's wide-angle camera recorded this stunning, false-color image of the ringed planet's north pole. The composite of near-infrared image data results in red hues for low clouds and green for high ones, giving the Saturnian cloudscape a vivid appearance. Enormous by terrestrial standards, Saturn's north polar hurricane-like storm is deep, red, and about 2,000 kilometers wide. Clouds at its outer edge travel at over 500 kilometers per hour. Other atmospheric vortices also swirl inside the large, yellowish green, six-sided jet stream known as the hexagon. Beyond the cloud tops at the upper right, arcs of the planet's eye-catching rings appear bright blue."
