Mame Manekineko from Gotokuji Temple

"that kitty is Kamakura limited version. each city has their own designed kitty in japan. and kamakura kitty is based on "Yabusame". Kamakura is next city of Yokohama where my parents live and it's old town used to have Japan's feudal government around 12th century.

there are few temple and shrines (Gotokuji Temple, Imado Jinja Shrine, Jishoin Temple) in tokyo says they are the origin of "maneki neko" (lucky cat). but gotokuji temple is the most famous (I believe) and whole town is like manekineko town...manekineko is everywhere in this town. town name is Gotokuji named under gotokuji temple."
