SPHEREFACTOR: Incredible Rare SEYMCHAN PALLASITE OLIVINE METEORITE Sphere

via this auction

"Seymchan Pallasite Meteorite w/ Olivine Crystals Sphere

Mineral Origin: Magadan District, Russia, 1967
Diameter: 2.77" / 70.3 mm
Weight: 2 lbs 4.3 oz / 1029 grams / 1.029 kilograms

Absolutely incredible!

The largest Seymchan Pallasite meteorite sphere ever offered!

Seymchan is a Pallasite meteorite found in the dry bed of the Hekandue River in the Magadan District, Russia,

near the settlement of Seymchan in June 1967 ...

Pallasites consist of a nickel-iron matrix packed with Olivine crystals

and account for less than 2% of all known meteorites ...

and unlike many meteorites, Seymchan is stable and rust resistant!

Due to the rarity of the Seymchan material and the large cut loss incurred to make a sphere,

very few have been cut! ...

and we can almost guarantee, another one this size is unlikely to be ever cut!

In April 2016, a Seymchan Pallasite sphere sold at Christie's Auction for over $10,000! ...

and it was only 434 grams! ... less than half the size of this one!

In October 2012, a 548 gram Seymchan Pallasite sphere sold for $13,000!"

Adventure Time Jake Engagement Ring

via "Adventure Time creator Pendleton Ward saw the ring and said, “Holy cow that’s amazing.” But there’s more. Adams told us, “Currently I have Paul working on my wedding band which will make the Jake ring part of a pair as my ring will be Jake’s butt. 18k gold Nine Planets ring with Meteorite and gemstones

via www.jewelrydesignsformen.com
"This ring features a complete band of Gibeon Meteorite framed and mounted in an 18k gold band. The meteorite has been etched with nitric acid to reveal the characteristic patterns, or Widmanstatten figures, of iron meteorites, and set with 9 gemstones representing the planets of our Solar System. Mercury is represented by a rust colored Sapphire, Venus a golden Sapphire, Earth an irradiated blue Diamond, Mars a Ruby, Jupiter an Opal, Saturn a Cats Eye Chrysoberyl with an inlaid 24k gold ring, Uranus a green Sapphire, Neptune a blue Sapphire and Pluto a black Diamond. What really makes this ring special is that the band of meteorite spins independent of the gold ring, so when it is on, the planets rotate around the wearer's finger. This ring weighs 26 grams, is 10 mm wide and is a size 11.5. It cannot be sized, but can be custom made in any size. There is also a narrower, 8.5 mm wide version available. The price of the ring is $4200.00 as shown, while the narrower version is $3600.00."
