How to Avoid Tourist Trap Restaurants in Nepal

"I got sick of eating bad food at tourist traps in Nepal, so I went out to find authentic Nepali food. I'll show you what I found, and I'll give you tips on how you to can discover home-cooked authentic food while travelling in Nepal and India.

What I found was Khaja Ghars (Snack Houses). They serve fresh homemade food, just like your mum would make. They're the same dhabas in India. As you travel around Nepal, make sure to eat at Khaja Ghars to avoid the disappointing food that many tourist restaurants serve.
